NAMIBIA – Chobe River
The Chobe River is a tributary of the Zambezi River, the confluence of which is just above the Vic Falls. Close proximity, however, does not result in ‘sameness.’ Indeed, the Chobe reveals a bird and animal sanctuary of such abundance that seeing is, believing.
Here you’ll encounter many hundreds of bird species. It’s a natural stopover point during spring and autumn migrations, an unbelievable sight. Vast animal herds, such as elephant (it’s not uncommon to see 500 to 1000 elephant on the floodplains at a time), buffalo and antelope, make for incomparable game viewing. Life on the river and in the adjoining game reserve will capture your imagination quite indelibly.
This package combines the best of Chobe River & Safari. Hugely popular and arguably our best-selling destination! A definite must for any “Africa Bucket List.”
